Obviously early votes are not counted till polls close on Tuesday november 8th, but states do release the numbers of people who have voted early, and some states say whether they are registered democrat, republican or unattributed.
Earlier in the year during Nomination Season, I did an analysis comparing the turnouts state by state in the Dem and GOP contests, and predicted the following:
Florida, Iowa, Maine, Michigan, Nevada, New Hampshire, Ohio, Virginia, and Wisconcin switch from DEM in 2012 to GOP.
Kentucky, Louisiana and West Virginia switches from GOP in 2012 to DEM.
States where turnout was veryclose: North Carolina
Here are the early voting returns that have split the returns by which party the voter is registered as as today:
2016 General Election Election Number - 10282 Election Date - 11/08/2016

Early voting by registered Republican is 2,403,171
Early voting by registered Democrats is 2,435,699
This will be decided by the people with no party affiliation.
Ballots requested; Ballots received
Democrat Count 275,454; 247,785
No Party Count 157,178; 137,679
Other Count 2,364; 2,019
Republican Count 225,715; 205,904
Grand Total 660,711; 593,387
The democrats have requested more early ballots - and again, this state will be decided by the unaffiliated.
Broken down by race:
Nevada shows early votes as a percentage of active voters, and so far 52.57% have cast their vote. Clark county, which includes Las Vegas has only a 51.77% return so far, which is low.
It isn't easy to tell yet who is winning - registered democrats have been more eager to request early ballots and return them than republicans. What happens next depends on whether Republicans turn out on the day.
